Are their any doctors that specialize in hair loss?

My hair falls out a lot. It falls out in chunks. I dont have no bald spots. But my hair is very thing compare how it was when i was sixteen. My hair was normal and didnt fall out intill i hit 16. I ask my family doctor and she said that is just stress. But i dont think is just stress i think there something else going on. else there any medicine that are for hair that i cant take.Are their any doctors that specialize in hair loss?

It could be your thyroid or something else so please go see a different doc if your doc won't take the time to find out what is wrong.
Don't be so quick to dismiss stress as a cause of your hair loss. It may very well be stress-related. Investigate this further. Hair loss can be due to dietary and hormone reasons as well. If you really must, ask your doctor about a referral to a dermatologist.





I think you may have goofed. You asked if there are any meds you CAN'T take for this. The treatment depends on the cause and may or may not include medication.
